What is Nudge?

Nudge is a browser extension and web platform that helps you learn Figma through interactive, hands-on guided projects. It overlays a shadow cursor and step-by-step tooltips directly inside Figma.

Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data needed to deliver the learning experience:

• Account information: Email address and name when you sign up.
• Lesson progress: Current step, completed steps, phase, and project ID — stored locally in your browser and synced to our servers.
• Interaction metrics: Number of wrong clicks, hints used, and time spent per step — used to personalize guidance and improve our lessons.
• Figma UI element attributes: Button labels and tooltip text from the Figma interface — used to locate where the guidance overlay should appear. We do not access your design files or canvas content.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your Figma design files or canvas content.
• We do not track your browsing history outside of Figma.
• We do not collect financial, health, or location data.
• We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalize the guided learning experience.
• To track your lesson progress across sessions.
• To improve our step instructions using aggregated, anonymous metrics.

Data Storage & Security

Your authentication token is stored in browser session storage and is cleared when you close the browser. Lesson progress is stored locally per Figma file. Server-side data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, creditworthiness determination, or any purpose unrelated to the Nudge learning experience.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
